The friend who contacted the network on condition of anonymity said the deceased had spent some time in an Italian prison and was released less than one month before his untimely demise.According to our source, Jallow’s body is now with the Italian police who are conducting a post-mortem.

The origin and family of the deceased in Gambia is unknown to his friends in Italy and they are appealing to anyone who recognizes him to reach out to his family.“We do not know where in Gambia he hailed from and we have no contact with any of his family members. We are desperately appealing to anyone who knows him to please reach out to his family. We do not have a choice but to turn to the media to help identify him.
