Europe was probably the poorest continent in the world. After the fall of the mighty Roman Empire, Europe fell into a state of total barbarism. Famines, diseases, cholera, tribal and religious crusade wars, illiteracy were the evils from which Europe suffered. An example in Paris people lived among pigs and made their need in the street. The stench was unbearable. Not to mention the measles plague diseases that were wreaking havoc among the European population. It is in this sense that Europe began to manufacture weapons from the rifles of the cannons to come to Africa at the end to capture slaves. It was thanks to black slavery that Europe financed its great industrial revolution, which was a decisive factor for its economic development.
